This page explains how nathansimmonds.digital uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things about your visit, like whether you've already given consent, or (if you allow it) how you found and used the site.

How we use cookies

We use two categories of cookie, shown in the consent banner when you first visit:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work: session handling, security, and spam protection on our contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile). These are always on and can't be switched off, because the site can't function without them.
• Analytics — Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are only set if you consent, and are blocked until you do.

We don't use advertising, remarketing, or third-party tracking cookies.

Managing your preferences

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, or change your mind at any time using the Privacy settings tab available on every page. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent removes those cookies and stops further analytics data being collected.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking all cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
